Maybe the Twitch? I'm not sure if it has a builtin sound card or not but If I were to start digital DJing today that would be the controller I would be looking at. I know here in the states it's MSRP is 499.99 dunno about abroad.
use the search function and stop jelling..
There are billions of threads on this....
No. Impossible. It can not be done. Now go do your own searching.:):):):):):):):):):D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:cool::cool::c ool::cool::cool::cool:
Happy?
Edit: Holy hell, looking at this 24 hours later.. I realize I totally forgot all the smileys!

your not doing too well to make friends on this, because of your comments and your age people are going to look down on you for being a KID plus its "retarDed" and do people still use the term "twat", and wow a "prick" in there aswell.... 500quid for a 16 year old :O aww the poor little spoilt kiddy...
Bad people skills=Bad DJ
On those grounds alone I refuse to help you. Sorry mate
Too much of a geek to be a dj, too much of a dj to be a geek...... So I became a CONTROLLERIST
It SOUNDs LIKE YOUR A WANNA BE DJ CAN YOU EVEN MIX ON TURNTABLES AND WELL ?? the way i c it is that if you can mix propery its ok to use trakor and controllers ....thoughts
AND A LOW LIFE

yes in fact I can. I can mix on vinyl and cdj's. I decided to start using a computer setup due to versitility... it allows me to be creative... carry less... have more music on me and still be able to rock a crowd.
I think before you step in the dj world "lil buddy" you should learn the proper value of money and responsability.
And since you're 16 im going to automatically asume youve never played in a club if you can even mix. so technically your argument towards vinyl v laptop is rather worthless... you shouldnt be so narrowminded... people that have never touched a record before can probly shit all over you when it comes to rocking a crowd!!
To the OP:
Your initial question was valid, although as someone pointed out, it's a question that has been asked before on several occasions. The search bar is very useful and I'm sure you could have thought of something to search for.
However, coming in so heavy with the insults was unnecessary and excessive. You need to remember that you're asking for help from people who know about the subject, no one here is obliged to answer you. This is a community and as such if you lose people's respect they're not likely to help.
Think of someone who opens this thread for the first time and reads it through, as I just did. You have come across as rather arrogant and unfriendly. In no real life situation would you ask someone for help then immediately call them a twat, and neither should you here.
Something to think about.
As someone mentioned, the Novation Twitch could be a good option for you. If you want more information I suggest you google it or use the search bar.
haha as someone soo argumentative im glad I didnt join this site with guns blazing as the community here have helped me with mapping, setting up, song choice, performance idea's, general chit chat and lots of other crap.... thankyou dj tech tools :)
y u all so srs? dude's just trollin
Check yourself before you wreck yourself :)

check yourself before you wet yourself.
2 nightclub sets?? but you're underage to even be on premises :O and how do I know its actually you playing?? I can get a set of tiesto if I want and claime it as my own....
how can you comment since you've never seen me play live and wont for at least 2 years... but since the drinking age might go up might be adding another 3 years onto that....
and yes tiesto does mess up... just you wont notice along with other people in the audience... a good dj will make a mistake and have no one notice because itll be covered up with style..
OP: I agree with a lot of the others on here - chill out.
Same goes for a lot of the allegedly older wiser heads on here (stifffy I'm looking at you amongst others here chap) - don't react like dicks, you're just lowering yourself. Admittedly, the OP hasn't exactly done a lot to endear himself to people but, he's a young'un, don't try and make out that you weren't an PITA on the odd occasion when you were that age ...
OK, for £500 I'm assuming you have a laptop & Ableton already? else that's your budget gone right there ...
I'd probably go with an NI Audio 2 for both Ableton and DJing software - try either Virtual DJ or MIXX to start off with I reckon as one is bundled with the Typhoon and the other is free.
Whatever headphones you've got will be fine to start with, and I'd probalby go for an Oxygen 8 for controlling Ableton.
You don't really need anything else. Buy an audio 2 and traktor pro, map the keyboard and use the mixer. Throw in the kontrol for effects if you want to.
Spend the rest of the money on tunes and strong cider.
If I were you I'd buy better turntables. ergh how can you use those things?
Oh. In that case.. Kontrol X1, MPD24, 2x LPD8 come to mind
I prefer the BIG Launchpad buttons. The knobs are nice on the APC though.
For just TSP the APC might win, but for me it would be hard to beat the AUREX sequencers in Ableton
Kontrol X1 = NHL for Traktor, MIDI for Live. Very portable
MPD24 = Faders, encoders and buttons. Make two presets, one for Traktor, one for Live. Lots of features, less portable
2x LPD8 = 16 pad, 16 knobs, all that in three modes, and 4 banks. Extremely portable.
please do not feed the trolls
