Uh-oh, don't like where this is going
I didn't like it, but I guess that's my opinion.
No offense, but this sounds cheesy as hell... might as well play this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHy7DGLTt8g
Well that was cheesy and made a decent song unlistenable.
E. None of the above!
I enjoyed the tune. But I still honestly like the original more. If you were going for a more throw-back retro thing though, I'm sure it would go off like mad. Wolfgang brings it hard, and he always has that distinctive sound which is his blessing and downfall IMO.
This is, HANDS DOWN, the best House tune Ever!

Marshall Jefferson doing it right! (If you don't know who that is then stop listening to Wolfgang Gartner or whatever his name is and get back to basics!)
The OPs song is pretty meh to be honest - cheesy instrumentation, bit too obvious
I have the original of illmerica, its not bad, but in no way the greatest, probably not even the greatest of last year when it was released.
That sounded like someone playing a sax over the original song...
Marshall Jefferson, remember buying that in Greek St and listening to it a lot!
Blew my mind
Sorry to inerrupt but donna summer's "i feel love" is the greatest house track ever!
reminds me of
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_tW00vU_HI
except 4000% less reasonable
but you hear the sample all over the place in many house tracks...
^^^ sure, i was giving him a bit of a hard time. obv, even the track as a whole has been played in many house sets.
nevertheless, compared to the "house music" created in chicago in the 80s with their powerful kick drums (and snares or claps on the 2 and 4), the drum programming in "i feel love" sounds soft to me.
I have a hard time saying "this is the best Incert genre song of all time" about anything I hear, it's to absolute. Easier to say I'm really feeling this right now.
and on that note, I'm really feeling this...

Laurent Garnier - Man with the red face ...
Is the greatest house song of all time IMHO.
def a good one but more techno than house imo (ok scratch that we shouldn't start a genre discussion as it will never end well).
one of my all-time favorite house tracks (i guess you could call it techno, too):

Have to disagree, I think the original of Illmerica is 1000x better.
Maybe not be the best, but my favorite
