Worst case scenario, he's dressing up like David Guetta, pressing play on a CD of shitty dance music, and mimicking like he's actually mixing, i.e. doing exactly what Guetta does. If it's stupid and it works, it's not stupid.

Locally our EDM scene isn't the best... so a promoter decided to try a few 'tribute' nights, where local DJ's would play in the style of a popular EDM DJ, so focus one night could be on Skrillex or Deadmau5, etc. But this, trying to 100% emulate a "popular DJ" is even one step further. How sad.
