Source? Yes. I am too lazy to look around all the usual gossip places.

2 Channel mixer, remix deck control built in? :)
Ok. So it's a 2 channel mixer, cue points/sample deck control on the right and left side (color buttons). There are two buttons above it to switch what decks you are controlling. Audio 8 style card built in. Full fx options on the top!
I don't know. Sounds fun
Djm t2?
crossfader looks to small
I say 2 channel mixer with an F1 beside it.
S2/S4 minus the transports and jogwheels?
I guess it's something to place between X1 and F1... Same as cheap hopefully.
I don't think that's an F1 or x1 next to it. I think it's an all in one unit.......
why do the faders look so small???
Fades are to short, plus if I can't replace my faders or at least clean them myself I wont be buying one.
Definitely an F1 at the back there, the rest is interesting. Wonder if they'll be at BPM.
X1/scratch mixer hybrid sound card with midge faders.
why do you taunt me with this news
Lightened image. Looks like it says Deck C above the buttons on the right. That doesn't make sense though because S4 and S2 both have Deck D on the right.

AAAAaaaaaaaargghhh
I hypothesize that it is a mixer. A mixer much like what serato utilizes. It has the time code info built into it and gets rid of the need for an external soundcard box that has to to the translating for you. I believe this mixer will have midi components that controll effects and possibly sample pads or built in effects.
Now how sweet would that be for NI?
hopefully it's this:

I'm guessing $499.
Son of a bitch haha, an NI scratch mixer, i'm sold.
I hope it's a MIDI surface controller mixer -- the market needs something like that just now, most offerings are crappy (Behringer) or expensive (Yamaha.)
I wonder if their quote of "something different" and Apple's iphone 5 unveiling have anything to do with it. (ok, that might be stretching it a little. Lol!)
A scratch mixer would be different enough for them, I wonder if it'll be analog or if it'll be like the S4 where all the audio is handled in Traktor.
Im gonna go with a mixer to go with X1/F1 setups. Built in soundcard maybe....im gonna go with the $499 guess as well.
NI getting in on the modular hype and giving us a small mixer to bring along with X1 and F1 maybe???
You think it'll be that cheap? That's a steal compared to other competitors. The DJM T1 is more affordable now but at launch it was $1700 for what appears to be a similar setup.
One thing i'm not a fan of is the Deck switching that's on the S4 and looks like it's on this unit. It's tricky to have intuitive control when you have to switch decks.
Oh can I make a prediction too?
It'll release with a new traktor version, with features that they'll only let you use if you buy this new controller "because they developed the hardware and software so closely." They'll then promise to make the new features midi mappable.... And never do it.
Second prediction: Everyone will fall for it.
Seems familiar....
All I know is this thing had better be turntable height.
How about an iOS version of Traktor....and a controller to handle it? Cue points, remix, two channel. iOS 6 is rumored to allow stereo output!
I would think it would be a midi mixer to go along side the F1 and X1.
Maybe the iPad is just not visible in the top of the picture?
