This is a new track I finished about 2 weeks ago. I think anyone that likes intense dark music will enjoy this. Let me know what you think, tell you friends, mothers, dog etc. Let me know if anyone is interested in a 320.

Excellent job man, really enjoyed this track.
Consider my dog, friends, and apparently all of my mothers to be informed. :)
Really, though. This is impressive. What did you use to do this?
This track is awesome man. I can picture it in some sort of vampiric film already. :D
I used Reason 4. Doesn't sound impressive but I've been using variation of reason for 3 years or so. I'm glad you liked it, I have tons. And not all of it is as dark. For fans of the Bloody Beetroots you should check out:

I liked your track man, wicked.
Anyone have any criticisms? You don't have to be to detailed, just a little bit.
Also, should I just keep putting music up?
I'll check it out when I get home :)
Not a big fan of the clap sound you use. Would rather it be banging on something, but that's the rivet head in me.
It's not bad, just strikes me as repetitive and VERY structured. I think you should mix it up a bit. I liked the opening bass line but I think you should vary it up every few bars, even a few different notes or rhythm or something just to slowly build the energy with it.
I like it, just sounds a lot like everything else. Make it YOURS. ;)
Yeah the clap is for the house side of it all. I love the drums in house music. I do love the pounding metal snares too, don't get me wrong. I have a song that I think you would like a lot more. I'll put it up later.
I guess the song does go on for a while. It definitely is a bit repetitive. This is more or less a song for the club. So the beginning would be mixed in, the middle would have elements of the next song and then within 3 minutes I would be on the something else.
So... you're assuming that DJs in the Industrial scene, overall, know how to DJ? ;)
I guess I've just never, well, liked House music. Somehow I think I've lost credit with the DJ gods.
I heard the structure, I think you just have a LOT of room to play.
320 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
expect your track in my next mixtape. ;)
yeyo also, muchos thanks. :)
That actually maybe why you don't like certain elements of the song. I am try to create a house/electro/industrial clash. Dark but upbeat, gritty but groovy. If that makes any sense at all.Quote:

I agree there is lots of room for different synth of different frequencies. I guess before I release it in an album, I should have radio (lol) and club versions. Club version being more repeditive and longer.
@DennisJ
I'll PM you a link this afternoon. I'd like to hear the mix when your done also. :D
Keep in mind, I liked it. Guess I'm more of a fan of the trance/electro/industrial combination :)
Good stuff man. I like both tracks. Got the link to the 320?
thanks man.
check out my remixes and tell me what you think

I'll give them a listen when I get home. Work = No Myspace
sweet track, love the riff. Needs some vocals man! How about ripping some 300, the warriors, oh oh, the boondock saints! Reading the prayer before they kill people....now that would be sick. I can also hear the track with the vocals about "Get your F'en rope Rambo!" <----something like that.
I'd love the sound to be a bit cleaner on some parts. other than that, this tune kicks ass. i am not even into the genre really (dont find it to be that dark either) and still i really like it.
good job man.
it's really just the distortion on some of the instruments. i mean thats what comes with using overdrive and stuff. i wonder if someones whos good a mixing down stuff could get rid of these few noises that are too much.
we probably just got a different definition of dark music. theres some real dark neurofunk. and i heard some frightening psytrance/goa. your track is aggressive but it doesn't scare me at all. well okay, the pad at the beginning is pretty dark.
dude i love when the drums kick back in at 1.05.
by the way: a friend of mine does professional mixdowns of music.
check before/after comparisions here: http://www.red-field.de/mixing.htm
maybe you should consider a professional mixdown and then mastering, since i would really recommend you to release this track!
That's awesome! I would love to release this track, sell a few files, hear it in the club. First problem is... I can't read German :p. Second problem is the money. I need to make friends with a sound engineer. That would be sweeeet.
well i can. :) and he's able to talk to you in english anyways. the mixdown part won't be the problem since he won't charge you that much if you tell him i sent you. it's just that i don't know what good mastering costs and from what i heard you need your stuff mastered if you want it to bang on a huge club PA. haven't heard his opinion on it yet, though. maybe an excellent mixdown makes another mastering step unecessary? all i know is the stuff that comes from him sounds excellent on my PA.
Do you know a round about price quote? That would help me make my decision a bit faster.
Raaarrrararar. My hype has died. :(
