Fidget is win in my book. It takes all the stuff I don't like from electro house and does away with them entirely, and takes the stuff I do like and puts it on crack.
There should be a few threads floatin around with a heap of suggestions for artist labels etc. Just do a quick search :)
Got to love fidget haha :D
Yes and no. Here's my thing. As long as it's funky it's good. Jack Beats/Bill Eff stuff is real good in my opinion. It has heart and soul. However Bloody Beetroots, and unfortunately AC Slater's stuff is just trying to figure out how aggressive and hard they can make their synths.
i'm a fan
DIEEEEE !!!! >_<
Lol jk, actually - i don't mind it actually. Been thinking about mixing it in with some psytrance to spice things up a bit, need to get around to trying this !
I like it minus the 4/4ness of it.
Fidget + non house beat = win? (or is that too close to dubstep...)
more like too close to ambientQuote:

my new fidgety mixtape shows 100% what fidget i love now
Ive never even have heard the term fidget to describe a genre before reading this thread. it seems like there are some killer beats around. can anyone recommend me some top notch producers? Im itching to mix this stuff
I find it really hard to dig anything with a wobble. And I've tried...a lot. I hear it everywhere, but i just can't get into it (just getting old perhaps?).
I don't even want to start on dubstep, or anything electro. even breaks these days. WHERE THE HELL DID ALL THE FUNK GO??
...sorry about that, i know there is still a lot of funk being produced, but not near as much as there used to be.
tim
I like some of it still, although I think it came and went here (ny)
Honestly I'm surprised the sounds still going, being that it hasn't evolved much in the past 2-3years
Its funny reading how some of the starters are denouncing it now: switch, herve, jesse rose.
I still check out On the brink, the bulgarian, trevor loveys, hostage etc
GLITCH MOB! (Pretty sure they count as Fidget/Glitch)

some of the fidget guys are doing breaks in their fidgety style. Aniki is one but there are a few others too
in my mind there are 2 types of fidget, the electro wobble style and the funky style. there are a fair heap of guys producing funk fidget beats like Kyle Watson, Beatdoctors, HiJack and Shab Ruffcutt.
sm00sh there is a thread a while back that had heeeaps of suggestions. jus do a quick search :)
