needs just a bit more airhorn
I've been dropping it for months trying to educate my crowd into trap, finally the internet has done the job for me.
I was dropping Gangnam Style 2 years ago
It's cool to see a tune that I enjoy get recognition like that, even if it is like 2 years old by now. (released about a year ago...floating around as a dubplate for a bit longer before that iirc?) Kinda crazy how it went so viral too. :)

playing trap music in general scares me a little bit now, people do the weirdest stuff when they hear trap in the club
6 months ago i thought trap was awesome
now its all "trap this" and "Trap that" and "damn son"
is trap the next BRO STEP?
Damn straight Zilch!
An interesting Parallel between the states and the UK Evolving in the Dubstep aftermath. The US (from what i can see) has Trap blowing up whilst the UK has 'Bass Music/Post dubstep' or whatever people label it as.
dubstep, brostep, trap, "bass", seems like the evolution of music for a new generation which CANNOT DANCE..... who remembers when people who were on the club dance floor were actually somewhat good dancers?...
Am I the only person on Earth to have not seen a single Harlem Shake video? I honestly have no idea what it is.
oh snap, we gotta bring this shit back.... it doesn't get any more real than this. the guy from northern cypress @4:30 has the fucking sickest moves ever.

Im kinda glad this horse shit has come along, at least my dnb raves can go back to being underground now and brostep can be left to die with what little dignity it has remaining.
This 'genre' strikes me as another flash in the pan, but thats what popular music is all about I guess!
LOVE the midifighter one. hilarious
the interwebs is full of crap...
I remember playing trap 15 years ago when it was just dirty south hip hop :P
Who gives a shit about how long we've been listening to/playing trap? If it helps you develop an ear for what works, then...cool, but other than that...nobody here cares.
How do you guys put this track into a set? Just a slam into the intro? I feel like the kids want to hear the whole 15 second buildup and the 15 second bass drop. After that - work in a bit of trap/top40 fusion like some Flosstrodomus or RL Grime...this is our chance to get trap out to the masses! Work this one into your sets, and like a TRAP, have 'em dancing to EDM for the next few tracks.
TI created trap? HA
Trap is already out to the masses. Its blown up huge in the last couple months and now is all the rage. Its all over the place. Even dubstep artists (albeit the kind of mainstream ones) are dropping long trap sets. Seven Lions played more trap than dubstep a couple months ago
behold..
