I tried to learn how to do this with the Maschine. Couldn't figure out how to do it to save my life lol.
Really want to learn this technique though. I remember hearing it during Hardwell's ultra set (wasn't DJ'd, part of a remix)

Dynamix is another guy that has been rockin the tone play. Just and FYI if your really into tone play "RE-Key" your tracks makes things easier and more creative than trying to find tones that will match.... The proper musical term is "Transposing" Learned this sight reading sheet music that was written for another instrument.
So when he triggers the pads are those preset cue points throughout the song?
No, he's triggering samples; either on the Remix/Sample Decks, or on Ableton.
