DC adaptor into AC Soundcard

Hi All,

I think i accidentally did the above and now when i plug the Proper AC one in it doesnt seem to work

Is the AC adaptor broke and its just a coincidence or could i have broke the soundcard. When you plug the DC adaptor in it turns on but i get hardly any sound out of it and its all distorted .. but the proper ac adaptor does nothing.

Can i just buy a new AC adaptor for it ? Its an M Audio Audiophile USB

I think you just cooked your soundcard dude :(

Not sure you know as the ac adaptor on testing is giving out now volt reading so that's def not working. Gonna go pick a new one up today. If it is cokked I guess it gives me an excuse to buy a proper soundcard ... I'll keep you informed
