I listened to your mix on my laptop speakers. Here's my feedback.
- Thanks for the tracklist and download link!
- Track selection : Intro was kinda abrupt but appropriately intro-y otherwise. The first five or so tracks all had a vocal, which is a bit overly vocal for my taste in deep. Otherwise, track selection was generally good and tracks blended well together harmonically. I didn't like "so high" or the "still dre" remake by claptone or the fatboy slim remix or "september" or "leave me".
- Mixing : Levels were ok, but could have been a bit more consistent. Slight phasing issues, especially in the first half of the mix. 25 songs in 63 minutes is sorta a lot for a deep house mix, you seemed to be mixing most quickly in the middle, so at least it was during the peak energy time of the mix. Energy levels were pretty steady throughout but I did detect a peak near the 3/4 point. I felt like your transitions could have been longer in general, but that's my preference when going deeper, especially with vocals. I didn't hear much obvious EQ work, and I like to hear that in deep mixing as well.
Thanks for posting, and keep at it! :D
