Solo foot pedal?
After watching the TP2 promos, I'm sold on wanting to add a footpedal to control the loop recorder. Problem is, I don't have the S4 and can't drop a ton of money on gear right now.
The only thing I've found so far that is remotely close to working is the UMI3 by Logidy. Thing is, it's got 3 switches and is probably more expensive than I'd like to go with this.
I need the cheapest, simplest way to connect a solo foot pedal to my Mac. Anyone already tackle this one? Or anyone have any ideas?

Most of them look like Chinese junk so you might need to buy three or four.

one of these http://bit.ly/eDpxd1 with one of these http://bit.ly/h7yZlW 'should' do the trick... never tried but in theory it should work as you require

@Chilly
I specifically want to be able to trigger it by foot, though. In the event that I'm working effects or cue points with my hands when I'm trying to turn on the loop recorder.

umm when i get outta bed ill give one of the guitar hero drumset pedals a go. i think that should plug into the back of my s4 (atleast i know it does into my APC) and let you know.
that might be a real cheap way (as well as a shitty cheap piano foot pedal)

I think one of the ones from the first link photojojo posted might work. Let's just hope it doesn't break on me immediately.
The DIY route is enticing, but I just don't have time right now.
