Rane MP2015 & Serato

I've recently purchased a rain mp2015 and purchase and installed serato DJ pro on my laptop. I've been out of the game for a while and still have a large vinyl collection but would like to be able to access my digital files and play them on my turntables with serato control records. I cannot seem to get the interface between the computer and the mixer. I've tried watching several videos and follow all of the steps as stated and then I get a driver error message with no connection and I'm unable to play on the turntables with any digital files. Anybody out there that's an expert on this matter and can help? Could be something as simple as a setting in serato I suppose. Help please...
