question for mac users of kontrol s49 /komplete kontrol/ableton 9/ rounds

so ive jumped through every hoop i can find hooking up my s49 in ableton on a mac, and i have almost everything working lovely , except i cannot access Rounds from komplete kontrol. I CAN find it in reaktor through my plug in folder in ableton though, but this gives me no use obviously.

i have run komplete kontrol in stand alone mode which made every other instrument show up in the browser, but not rounds. i have also tried running rounds in stand alone mode.

any advice on where im going wrong, or other tricks to try would be very much appreciated.
