How much time have you got? ;)
one at a time please :)
When i was 20 i worked for a radio group and one of the FM stations was an oldies station. I worked overnight production alone so i would reprogram the entire nights music playlist. Drunk friends would call me and request songs. It was great.
When I got some time I'm goona contribute to this thread.

Excellent choice Ed! :)
(Was playing it just 5 minutes before posting!)
I worked at an oldies radio station 20 years ago and used to make tapes for my friends. One of my friend's mother would steal the tapes from her so she could listen to them. The mother died in a car wreck a week ago. We had the celebration of her life yesterday and I was asked to make a few CDs of the music that was on those tapes she liked. I ended up with four CDs packed with great music. This was one of them...
RIP Gail...

Shits really close, released on 14. December 1979.
Uh, you made me think of something, quite 80ies-like sounding yet from the late 70ies - and an awesome classic.

Well, many more Doors songs would be worth a mention, but you'll all know them anyways. So I'll leave it at one for now....
