I use the Numark DJ IO as my sound card for Traktor and that all works fine but if I want to output audio from a program like iTunes, the only way I can do it is through my Mac's speakers or headphone jack. The settings don't give me an option to output via the DJ IO. Does anyone know how I can get this to work?
Yeah, you gotta set the interface as the standard output in your Mac's system preferences.
go to audio/midi in applications>utilities. In audio the soundcard should show up as a device. Select it for system sounds or output device.
Hmm, I jsut tried this but the soundcard doesn't show up in audio devices. Here is a screen shot showing my Traktor preferences (which show the soundcard) and the Mac audio preferences (not showing the soundcard)...?Quote:
