Check output routing

Alright so this has been happening on and off since I've bought Traktor but google isnt helping me find a soution. Sometime when I start up TSP2 the audio button will turn red with a slash through it and the audio setup screen will pop up saying Traktor audio 10 (not connected). b=But when I unplug it and plug it back in it goes from built-in, back to Traktor Audio 10 (not connected) and at the bottom "please check your output routing" again. Usually when I restart my macbook it will work fine but it's becoming annoying and I can't figure out whats wrong since sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't
