quick question about the "pitch shift" effect on korg zero 4

this is more or less the same in function as the "key" knob on traktor correct?

yep, but less accurately controlled, and it has a wet/dry so instead of changing the key 100%, you can add an octave below with the original key, or add harmonies if you are really good with knobs.

sweet, you just sold me on that purchase

The zero 4's are really awesome. Only a few bad points, and the fact that korg doesn't make or support them anymore.
