SNAP for beat markers???
Possible or not? When I load a track, and Traktor gets the right tempo, but placed th ebeat-marker in the wrong position, I'd like to delete the incorrect beat marker, and replace it with one that lands right on a grid-marker.
Can it be done? or do I need to ZOOM ALL THE WAY IN to get an accurate beat-marker?

Not for me.
I always have SNAP turned on, and it works fine for setting Cuepoints on a grid marker - but, when I try to add a Beat Marker, it lands wherever the play marker is - it doesn't snap to the nearest grid marker.

You're talking about a beat grid marker? The reason it won't snap is to allow you to "resync" a drifting track. I usually drop a second beatgrid marker on a track that drifts near the outro to the track. You wouldn't want the second beatgrid to snap to the original.

No - I'm only talking about only the FIRST beat-marker.
After deleting the original (wrong) first beat-marker (the one that Traktor creates), I want to drop a NEW beat marker on one of the grid-markers that are automatically set when Traktor analyses the track...

So just drop a cue point marker where you want it with snap on, delete the grid marker and change the cue marker to be a grid marker.

Genius. I can't believe I didn't think of that.

Sometimes you just gotta talk it out. :)
