I love the project and it got me thinking, how does my s2mk3 look inside?
Turns out it has a somewhat modular design, but I did not find a pic of the s4's internals for comparison.
Maybe it would be possible too?

The board placed next to the S4 is normally mounted at the top of the unit and has all the processing units and connectors on it.
Forgot to post this vid here but the units are pretty much completely finished right now. Currently, I'm mainly looking into a way to cleanly cover up the IO holes in the front/back end of the unit, I'm thinking of 3D printing some sort of thin faceplate that fills these holes but not certain yet how I'd give it the "native" look.
