;) its really only a matter of time tbh... if any of them wanted to build lets say an iphone/android app for there services they would need to build an API and i see that happening eventually. beatport was just the first to do it ;)

I really like beatler.
Looked in to this a bit further :)

Ill talk to rupert (the main coder) about it. but what we receive is data from last.fm. we have no control ourselves over that database. the reason the incorrect info is showing up is because none of your tracks have been indexed in last.fm thus your artist name doesn't show up in a search. but like i said ill speak with rupert and see what we can do.
(Update)
you were just now indexed and i corrected the name on last.fm to match the name on beatport.
(Update 2)
also this is the page for the incorrect info http://www.last.fm/music/dj+paddy
which you can submit changes with the notation of the mixup between the artist names.
So... how do I see the tunes I added on the website within Beatler? They don't show...
Importing items from your Beatport crate
If you have items in your Beatport crate that you wish to import into Beatler, you can use the crate sync function. The is a one way sync i.e. Beatport -> Beatler and if one of the item's being imported is already in one of your Beatler crates it will be ignored.
"To import items from your Beatport crate:
Select the crate you want to import into.
Select Sync with Beatport from the crate's Right-click pop-up menu."
Also if you are using a registered version Beatler will also synch your mybeatport with the ofinterest section. to flag all releases and charts that meet your criteria.
beatbot is also accessible in the right click menu :)
