ok SRSLY, I can't get this tablet 2 midi stuff to work on my PC... help!
So I know my short attention span is to blame for a lot of my screwups but getting stuck on step One blows...
I'm trying to use WMIDI to use my wacom tablet as a XY controller for some filters in Live but apparently i need to route the midi signal through "Hubi's Loopback MIDI driver". This is the brick wall for me (since I don't know much about MIDI);
"Start Windows, select "Control Panel" from the "Main" group, select Drivers,
select Add button, select "unlisted driver", OK, enter your directory
(eg. C:\TMP). Now you should see "Hubis Loopback V2.2", and press OK."
Okay, am I missing something really dumb or why can't I see the Drivers button?
I googled "install MIDI drivers" and so on but it feels like it's assumed you know how to do this...

Ok I installed WMIDI and Midi Yoke and almost got it to work but right now it only sends notes and I want the 0-127 value for mapping to a filter...
I found this;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_jNl...eature=channel
which seems great but it's for FL Studio. I don't know how to setup channels and controllers manually in Ableton, only the MIDI learn but it doesn't react when I draw on the tablet?

Tech Mentor
try setting the midi in on the track to your controller?

Yeah I did and I'm getting notes, but not the numerical 0-127 X or Y value I want for controlling parameters...
