APC40 hotcue mapping problem

hey guys,

I'm having a weird problem mapping my APC40 hot cues to the Clip Launch area. I've managed to figure out how to map the hot cues to a button however the only value I'm allowed to set in interaction mode is "hold" it wont give me any other options when what I really want it to do is toggle.

Anyone else run into this problem?

Hey man,

I experienced the same issue when mapping, (ive mapped an m-audio axiom 49 and now Im mapping my APC40 that I just got last week!!!) but however I think its just the nature of the traktor beast.

When Im juggling cues, if I want the button to act as toggle (to keep the cue playing just by triggering it instead of having to hold the button) press play on your track first and then trigger your cue. It will play out without you having to hold down the button. And if you want your cue to play only a small portion the song over and over, then save your cue as a loop and just make sure loop is activated. viola.

there are some .tsi's floating around NI site for X1 owners who want that functionality - hotcue + play. maybe download one and copy the settings they have to the buttons on the apc.
