Getting better touch sensetivity with the Oxygen 25?

I've bought a Oxygen 25 as a gateway drug to controllerism (More as a mean to perform live music rather than DJing) and have found me very pleased with it down to one detail being, the way it reacts on me pressing the keys.

It doesn't seem to start to send any signal until a bit down on the push, meaning that if I play to a metronome I feel me pushing down the key close to perfectly to each tick, but I don't hear a response in the program but slightly after meaning resulting in me getting off-beat quickly.

After a while I manage to overcome this, err, "lag" so to speak and can time pretty okay but its a pretty frustrating detail.

Is there anyway to get the controller less touch-sensitive or, well, make it react quicker to me pressing it? Or have I just bought the wrong controller for what I need?

Sounds like you're suffering from input latency. You could try tweaking your system for audio, or altering your ausio preferences in your software...

The thing is, I can actually lightly tap on the keys without anything being registered at all. I imagine this being a hardware thing rather than a software thing?
