adding trigger finger to traktor

useing a novation 25
and just got a trigger finger
but its not picking it up at all

have clicked add "genreal midi" put trigger as in and all ports as out
same as the novation but not working

any help?

make sure you've plugged them in before you opened traktor

done that and its still not picking up
is there a setting on the trigger i need to set up?

right not even live is picking up now i dont get this at all
do you have to edit something to get it to pick up some times it iwll some times it wont
but it allways shows it there but wont respond
