Default Traktor Modifiers: Looking to use 8 knobs to control all eq parameters for 4 decks.

Have been brainstorming ideas on a way to pull this off using modifiers. I am VERY new to using modifiers in general and do not currently include them in my .tsi.

I use an Akai MPD24 so thankfully the knobs are laid out in a vertical fashion. They are currently only assigned to use all 4 bands for decks A & B. I would also like to have a button on my qwerty keyboard to toggle on/off to make each set of 4 knobs to control a different deck's eq parameters.

Here lies where i'm looking for ideas. It would be easy to assign two modifiers on my keyboard to have them toggle whether the set of 4 knobs control deck A or C and another to toggle the B or D decks, but then I would not be able to have control over both decks if say the two decks playing were A & C and I wanted to simultaneously use both decks eq knobs.

Any ideas on how use modifiers to do anything similar to this, or any ideas in general in regards to controlling all 4 decks eq parameters with 8 knobs is massively appreciated

Use one of the buttons to be modifier that toggles between controls for A/B and C/D.

So when the button is "off", it will have like M1=0, for example, and all of the EQ controls for A/B will have the M1=0 modifier. Then when you turn it "on", it'll be M1=1 and all of the EQ controls for C/D will have the M1=1 modifier.

6 keys - broken in 2 banks of 3 keys.

Use each key to identify the control for each bank of 4 knobs.

Keys - a, b, c to set knobs on left for control of deck a, b, or c
Keys - z, y, x to set knobs on right for control of deck b, c, or d.

The set up is similar to the crossfader selector on a standard multi-channel mixer. The idea is that A will always be on the left set and D will always be on the right - but decks B and C can be on either side.

Also, be sure to turn on soft take over - otherwise when you hit the key the EQ settings will apply to the current deck you switch to instead of switching after you move the knob to the location in the software.

On a side note, you 'could' set up 2 banks of 4 keys allowing you to put any of the decks on either side, but it's a bit overkill... and in all honesty, it can get confusing if you're not careful.
