DIY VCI-100 Overlays (Which do you prefer)

We are playing around with ideas for a blank overlay that allows you to label your custom functions. These are the current designs:

1. Black with silver blank spots (rough draft)
   
2. white with limited black forms

any other ideas or suggestions?

I think white would look the best, it might get a bit grubby though. I imagine they can be easily cleaned though.

I have to recommend against plain white. I made white overlays myself and they look too plain. great contrast for development, but I think the best color would be to imitate the silver color the VCI already has.

what did you make them out of?

we have a shop in town that makes custom stickers, car wraps and the like. I just went there and purchased some uncut sticker vinyl. they have it in a variety of solid colors, and can print anything desired. they also have clear, so once I quit moving buttons, a clear coat can be put over the top so it no longer smudges.

know that this does not have as nice a finish as the overlays DJTT offers, nor will they be easy to remove!
