X session pro desoldering
Anyone done this? I'm still looking at building a controller with one of these and several other parts. My problem seems to be putting all the parts together in one unit without the enclosure being huge. The X session pro circuit board isn't large at all, but when I put it next to the other parts, it all becomes much too big. I would like to place the circuit board at the bottom of the controller and solder leads up to the mixer section of the S4 clone.
I was wondering if anyone has done this before or has any info on the units. Adding decent buttons won't be a problem, but are the pots/faders 10k? Are the pots /aders easily de-soldered etc?
Any help welcome. If no help appears, I may use this as a mini build log for the X session pro part of my larger project.

Not sure about the x session but not so long ago i started getting my xponent ready for a future project
I replaced all my pots with10k lin one's with no problems at all.
As for adding any buttons - just solder straight to the tactile switches.

can't you use a multimeter to measure the type of potentiometer you need? if not, 10k is the most likely I'd guess?
