Default Kontrol S4 issue with Live PA

    Hi guys.

Having an issue where if I try to do scratching on the jogwheels, the speakers have some distortion or noise. I tried jogwheeling on a channel that wasn't on air, even with filter at 100%, it seemed to 'lag' or slow down the playing channels audio + continue to distort. I'm running a laptop to the S4, as well as a X1. I'm using the TRS outputs to a pair of RCF 310A's with XLR cables.

Any assistance would be great as my scratching last night was embarassing! :P

Btw I'm running the current Traktor Pro S4, was hoping to rectify this problem before upgrading to T2.

Well my S4 currently isn't connected but just opening it (with no audio routed) it says 10.2 (processing) 10.2 (output) = 20.4. Hope that helps?

.....way too much, change the buffer size settings, until you get under 10....but i'm not sure it will solve your problem...

Alright...so what should I do apart from the buffer?

My levels were fine all night, occasionally too much bass led to entering the red zone in the channel but never in the over master output.

there's a software volume and hardware volume so it's a little tricky to get dialed in and my not show up as red on the controller. I run my software volume around -5 or so most of the time. Is auto gain on? What about the limiter? Some have attributed funky sound to the limiter.
