Default Can you use FX on the Loop Recorder?

Is this possible? Can't see any obvious way of using an FX bank on the Loop Recorder.

That's the other way round, any fx or eq you will apply on your channel will be recorded on the loop recorder. Not afterwards.

But then you can drop what's recorded within the loop recorder to a sample slot and apply fx(s) there.

Thats what I thought. It would be nice to be able to apply fx to a loop thats running in the loop recorder without having to drag it into a sampler first.

It's a quick press of three buttons and you have the loop from the loop recorder in a sample deck.

Browse + Play (on the loop recorder) + Play on a sample deck

You could also pre-record the sample with the headphone cue. Slam it in a sample deck (as I mentioned above) and then record the effects you want in the loop recorder with that same loop then, slam that over the sample you just slammed into the deck and hear how it sounds, before you even use it live.

It's not an improvisational adding of effects with the loop recorder though, as I think that is what you are looking for.

Thanks scamo for sharing that shortcut, I never would have found that on my own!
That makes the loop recorder suddenly MUCH more useful.

    Glad I could help.

I only realized this too, after watching dub fx's video with the S4.

I said to myself, how in the heck is he doing that!

edit/ and as cool as NI is, they also have a tutorial on how dub fx did all that.

And then as cool as DJTT is, they went into even further depth into how this video was done.
