Default Turntable feet (specifically Tech 1200s)

So recently I found a pretty good deal on a 1200, but it doesn't have any feet. I looked online and it was looking like anywhere from $12.50-$20 per foot, putting it at $50 for a set! Has anyone found a cheaper source for feet and/or has anyone used aftermarket feet on their Techs or other tables and found ones that work well?

I found these: http://www.kabusa.com/sdomes.htm#CTOP (SORBOTHANEŽ II ANTI VIBRATION FEET) linked on a hi-fi turntable site and they got a good review, but it was unclear if they would fit Techs as is, and if they would be a good choice for DJing. Has anyone tried these?

Virtually any "DJ" turntable feet will happily work on a tech e.g. Kam, gemini etc ... you might pick some up S/H. Just a word of advice if you are playing out. The feet on a tech are designed as part of the feedback isolation system (like the rubber bottom) so you may run into issues.

IF its just for home use, a few M6 (If I remember right) bolts as feet would do the trick

12.50 ain't bad ... they used to be around $60 each at one point:-O

Cheers. Yeah it came with a flight case as well so we'll see how it fares in that anyway but yeah. And I'm not too concerned about using it gigging out since I can just use club installs for that as far as where I'm looking to play.

$60 a foot? Damn - that's the price of a secondhand Tech there in itself almost.

the cheapest place i've found for any tech part is directly from panasonic.

    http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-e...del.SL-1200MK2
and click on the bottom right for parts.

this might be a direct link: not sure if it will work for you though.

it's $11 through panasonic, so 12 isn't that bad. i ordered a bunch of stuff direct from panasonic a few years ago and it was fast, cheap and i didnt worry about quality of the part.

kabusa.com has a few different feet options, but stock ones are pretty expensive... your best bet is to check ebay daily and buy a 1200 for parts and sell what you don't use seperate...most the time i get tech for parts for around $100-$150 shipped, fix turntable and sell for $400
