    Default Is S2 Good For Hip Hop music????

    Im looking at buying a new controller and was wanting to find a good one to use for hip hop music, scratching, etc. Is the S2 good for what Im looking for?

    I use it, I love it. Works great for hip hop.

    & you can easily throw in samples

    In my own opinion, the best digital set-up for Hip hop would be 2 vynil decks+mixer+soundcard+novation dicers... Quite expensive... Glad I don't play hip-hop...

    dude... yes it is. I have been a hard core turntable loyalist for a long time and I think the S2 is dope. It's size makes it super portable. I have a Traktor DVS system too but the S2 is just fun to use.

    The jog wheels are a little small but you adjust easily and the response is spot on. I can two click flare, chirp and whatever on it with no problem.

    I am concerned the fader is going to go out on me... but other than that I highly recommend it for playing hip hop.
