personally, i would get rid of the top row of buttons for the samples so that it would still be like an s4.. and so that they would be bigger

God forbid i add to any rumour on NI controllers, but you never know.
I was wishing for an all-in-one controller and so I made this mock-up of a controller about 4 months before the S4 was announced to the Beta-Team. NI were already working on the S4 then this image was sent around the NI office and they were all pretty shocked at my complete shot in the dark.
It got posted on their facebook but it was removed.
I was told that my mock up was "so close its not even funny"
I think it was a pretty good guess of what was to come.
Clearly an A&H DX + 2 x X1 + VCI300 Jog wheels.
