Default Routing S4 Audio into Broadcast Using This Tool (BUTT)

Hi there, I'm trying to set up Traktor so I can broadcast to a Shoutcast server.
I've gotten pretty far except BUTT isn't showing anything on the audio levels when I select the Traktor as my audio device.
I read somewhere that I need to route the output... Somwhere for it to work.
Just wondering if anyone can offer some guidance.
    Many thanks.

Hello you need to route it with a software like sound flower or hijack it

Nicecast is mac only isn't it? Anyway you need to go out of one of the mains on the S4 to the input on your computer then select that as your audio source. You should check out mixlr.com. Pretty dead easy setup, but I believe you'll still need to do the same routing.

I'm using nicecast right now. The only issue I have with it is I almost have to use hijack to get the audio. Though I recently purchased an amazingly well shielded RCA to 3.5mm cable and I started using my computer's input for audio. If I just hijacked it then I wasn't able to hear the audio coming from my main outs, I'd have to have something plugged in to my RCA outs for external monitoring.

can you hear audio from your 1/4 master outs? hijack literally took the audio from the master out so I couldn't monitor anything out of my headphones.

Are you using nicecast plus the built in stream? I'm curious on how you're setting up nicecast.

I don't have the S4 anymore, but when I did I set up the S4 as the default system sound device in preferences and just chose the system as the sound source in Nicecast. Never used the RCA's so I can't speak to that.
