Just wanted to double check here before swooping one of these second hand. I believe the USB 3.0 backwards compatibility issue has been resolved, correct? I'm running a late 2012 MBPretina 13in with only USB 3.0 ports...

If you are using windows 7 (havent tried on 8 yet) i wouldnt do it.. My audio 2 crashes the OS if I plug it in through usb 3. For MAC i have no idea. I got it to work on my laptop through the usb 2 slot ( i have one of those) but latley ive been having some troubles with this one too where windows doesnt recognize the audio 2.
In general I would advise you to borrow from someone to try first, if possible. From my experience with the NI soundcards + windows usage I would not recommend buying before testing. I would expect apple computeres to work tho, as most dj equipment is made with their OS in mind.
Dr. Blue
I use the Audio2 mk1 with my new MBPr. Everything works fine when set to 48 kHz!
NI released drivers for MacOS 10.9 & 10.10.
For a former MacOS version use the older drivers!
You find the drivers on NI´s support page.
MacBookPro 11,1 | i5 2,4GHz | 16 GB RAM | 256 GB SSD
MacOSX 10.15.x | TraktorPro 3.x | VCI-100 SE FW 1.4 | VCI-400 SE (EGE)
Thanks Dr.Blue and Consul. Yes, I saw the drivers and downloaded appropriately. Will try to test the soundcard on my laptop before buying.
