Default Has anyone ever mapped a Cue Master to Resolume?

I've been dicking around with VJ'ing in Resolume and I got the idea to use my Midi Fighter Cue Master for some of the controls, but I'm having an issue with the faders. It's like it will only map half the movement. Is the MF Pro faders mapped to two different CC's or what? Does it happen this way in other applications, too?

It is not an issue, those are super faders and they send two different CC's.

Ok, that's what I figured was going on, but does this mean it's not going to work with some applications?

It will work with all applications that use MIDI protocol but this fader will always send those two CC's. I don't know about Resolume's modifiers system but with Traktor it can be mapped to work as a regular fader. What do you need them to conrol?

i thought it sent one CC for the full travel of the pot and then *also* additional CC's depending on where it is. sounds like you're mapping an extra CC instead of the normal/full CC?

ah ok - i've never had one to play with, always thought the superfader type CC's were as well as the normal ones. would seem a bit odd if not? running my dump(.exe) app or midiox or something to see that's coming out would be the easiest way to know for sure i guess.

I guess that you think about smart knobs which are like multifunctional regular knob (one CC) those do what mapping say's to. This super faders are calling it like that because of different controls from itself and it's mean to be used for tricks with smart knob's concept. I never play with it too, but I watched DJTT video where it can clearly see how it works.

Just switch the controller to ableton mode using the midifighter utility. that will make the faders and knobs become good ole standard controls.
    Problem solved.

Cool, that totally fixed it. Thanks! Although the inverted thing is kind of annoying.
