MF 3D not recognized by MF utility...
Hey, so I just opened my MF3D, and, despite it's awesomeness, the MF utility won't recognize it, and continues to tell me to plug in a midifighter even if the 3d is attached. Suggestions?

windows:
close MF utility
un plug, wait, plug on other usb port .
wait a bit
lauch mf utility
eventually restart windows.
there is something on closing usb port on windows wich is not ok ok ...

and on mac? sorry, should have mentioned I'm running OSX 7.4.2

hum... sorry, no idea about it. is it your first use, or did you have access previously to the MF3D with the MF utility ?

This is what I was told to do and it worked:
The first thing you can try is going to your audio midi setup ( you can search for that using spotlight). Click "Window" then select Show Midi Window.
You will now see a page which contains every midi controller you have ever connected. Look through this list until you find the 3D, once you find the entry for the 3D delete it. (the 3D will need to be disconnected for this to work)
Once it has been deleted connect your Midi Fighter and see if it now works.

hum, so if you experience this on MAC and i experienced it on windows, djtechtools guys have something to do with their MFutility and MIDI driver usage.... that sounds a bug ...
