    Default Turntable Repair?

    Does anyone know where i can send my 2 vestax pdx2000 MkII to get repaired? they have the infamous platter wobble problem
    Any help suggestions, or diy tutorials would be more than appreciated.

    I believe a chip replacement is in order. Hipno has done it I believe it.

    That would be the TTX1s that I have replaced the IC chip on due to motor issues. I have heard of the PDX2000 platter wobble problem but I have not heard of a fix. Maybe take off the platter (make sure the deck is not plugged in) and try pushing and bending around where the platter mounts and see what wiggles that shouldn't. Try PMing Smittten, I know he has PDX2000s.

    Now that you mention it, I believe the PDX issue is a black piece which mounts under the platter. There are numerous YouTube fixes out there. Thanks for the clarification Hipno.
