    Default NanoPad2 vs LPD8 + Traktor S4

    Hey guys, all good?

    Here's the deal:
I have an S4 and Im looking for something more, I was thinkin something like the Nanopad2 (I will use to control and, maybe, filter). But I saw some people talking about LPD8, the built quality and stuff... What can you guys suggest me? I like the XY on nanopad2, but I also wanted to use it for drum (I dont know how you guys call that, just a few drum samples) (Maybe the one who cames with Nanopad).

    Can you guys help me?

Sorry, my english sucks! I'm Brazillian and I have 16 years old, so, I dont want nothing very expensive.

    Thank you!

build quality of the nano's does indeed suck. if for home use i'd go for a nano, if for gigging i'd probably shell out a bit more and get the vestax pad one. a quick look on uk ebay shows the nanopad2 going for 45quid and a b-stock vestax going for 80. so more expensive but not *too* much more expensive if u get a decent deal on the vestax. i have a mk2 nanokontrol that has never given me any problems - tho i haven't really used it too much and you're more likely to give a drum pad more abuse

if you weren't worried about not having the XY pad then just get an akai lpd8 - you do at least get 8 extra pots into the bargain... it's also cheaper than the nanopad2 and much better built.
