Kontrol F1 use in Ableton live 9

Been trying for days with multiple mappings but just cannot make the final step to truly being able to use the Kontrol F1 with Ableton live 9 in session view.

I have referred to every online video and direction set but still can't do it.

Even when trying to map the pads to do anything, i cannot get any response from them.

I have mapped my faders easily but cannot seem to get the proper settings in control editor to sync with Ableton.

If ANYONE has mapped their F1 to work in Ableton live 9's session view, please save me!

One word: ClyphX. I have successfully made a clip navigation script using this. I have not been able to get leds to directly correspond to a clip's color (there are workarounds though).
My current use for the pads is to set predefined clip envelopes with various values; the first pattern being an increasing ramp would range from 63-127 on pad 1, 0-127 on pad 4, 0-63 on pad 16....(the visual feedback is key for this obviously).

I started this scripting quest 6 months ago, and all I can say is that your going to have to find an IDE, a keyboard wrist pad and a lot of spare time.

In short doable, but tedious, yet thoroughly rewarding.
