Quick A&H Xone: K2 Question

Anyone know if the Xone K2 Resource Disc that comes with it is absolutely necessary to be able to use the K2? I am selling mine to a friend but don't have the disc. I know the software is downloadable from the A&H website, but I can't remember if the disc is needed first before downloading software.

No, you don't need any discs to use the K2. Drivers and mappings are available online.
