Question Map Deck Tempo in Traktor Scratch Pro 2 to DJM 900 Nexus?

    Hey everyone,

I've been trying to figure out if it's possible to midi map the deck tempos inside Traktor Scratch Pro 2 to some faders/knobs on the DJM 900 Nexus. Can anyone help with me out with this? I've never tried mapping anything before.

    Thanks!!

Uhm I have no experience with Pioneer (Allen & Heath FTW!) but I guess if it works, wich i'm not sure of, you should follow these steps.

    1. make sure all the drivers for the nexus are installed to your computer.
    2. open traktor -> options -> controller mappings.
    3. Click "add" select generic MIDI.
    4. In the top right corner of the controller manager window you see in and out port. check if the djm 900 is listed.

If no then it probably means it's not possible.
    If yes then hurray!

    5. set in/ out port to djm900 nexus if it's in the list, if not you might still give it a shot by putting them on all.
    6. press add in -> deck common -> tempo adjust.
    7. press learn a slap around the knob or fader you want to map.

If it works there should now appear a code (button number) wich means traktor recognizes the fader or knob and has assigned it to the tempo adjust mapper.

Play around a little with the setting to make it exactly the way you want.
There are plenty of tuts here on the forum and on the internet on how to map faders and such

    Good luck.
And don't shoot me if i'm wrong, i've never had a nexus of my own to try this kind of things with :P
Love it when it all comes together.
