    Default kontrol s4

, hi all , ive had a look around trying to find a solution / answer to my queston but as yet no luck , so if this has been covered elsewere i apologise , basically im happy with the s4 default mapping but after watching Eans video on mixing acapellas over instrumental i would realy like to be able to just hit the cue points on my s4 and have them play without me having to hold down the cue point button , any ideas if this is possible on the s4 ? regards steve

I'm not going to dig into the details but to keep it short:
    - It's a LOT of work (and I mean a lot) for something which will be in the end uncorrect (that specific mapping could be broken easily so you'll end up with something unreliable)
    - that's just unwanted behavior on the hotcues you're asking for, what you want doesn't make a lot of sense (apart eventually for the first cue point) in the scheme on how hotcues work and it's more practical to have them like that. You want them to play, just press play...

There’s also an almost hermetic community that exists in many areas of dance music, where serious hobbyists feed off each other’s expertise but barely connect to the industry – despite many of those involved actually working in it.
