Noob question about One-Button-Mashup mapping for Traktor
Hi, this question probably illustrates the fact that I don't 100% how the mappings work yet.
I have a DDJ SX with Traktor 2.10. I am using Pioneer's mapping and it works okay.
So now my midi fighter is kicking its heels with not much to do. And my question is, can I use the One-Button-Mashup mapping without screwing up the FX mapping already imported for the DDJ SX. Do they work together? Or will I have to go through the DDJ SX mapping and take out the relevant FX bits?
Thx in advance...

Hey snowmonkey,
Both should be fine as long as you make sure not to use "ALL PORTS" setting when assigning a mapping.
Try going trough this couple of steps:
1) Use BIG Import button at the bottom left of preferences window and import One Button Mashup tsi that way. (only 'controller mappings' and 'effect settings' should be checked in next window that pops-up)
2) Repeat #1 to successfully update new FX Settings.
3) Set your MIDI in-port and out-port to Mififighter 3D for each part of the mapping.
4) Navigate to Device Menu at upper section of Controller Manager and click on 'Add...' --> Search for your SX tsi and simply add it as a "next" mapping when you have your MF3D all set.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Couple of extra questions;
- If I use the big import button, doesn't that wipe all my Traktor settings and preferences?
- I don't understand why I need to import twice. Is there more than one tsi file for this mapping?
- Are you suggesting I delete my current SX mapping first and then re-install after the midi fighter one is installed?
Thanking you kindly!

Ignore the above question - I bit the bullet and did it. Seems to work fine! Thanks once again DJTT team
