Gemini SLATE4 not working

So over christmas i did a pretty big overhaul on my computer so its been a hassle trying to get things set up. so i downloaded Serato DJ which i did pay for. I cant seem to active my Serato even though i am logged in but i dont know how to dig my key out of my old hard drive. To make matters worse i tried connecting my SLATE4 only for it to not work on serato intro which it should. so i connected it to my buddy's laptop with traktor and the CTRL light flashes when i push buttons. i plugged it back into my computer and connected it to the Gemini updater and it told me that my device was connected and up to date. not a clue what is wrong. any ideas?

Mac or PC ? ...

If its a Mac you probably need to set up a new midi configuration.

im on pc. so heres an update. last night i downloaded MIDI-OX. i have a gemini slate4, a midi fighter twister, and a midi fighter classic. when i connect all 3 to MIDI-OX, all 3 send midi signal. but when i went into traktor, i was only getting control out of the slate4 and the classic even though i had the sequencer map in traktor. BUT when i turned on my computer today to try and get some more mapping done, NONE OF MY DEVICES ARE SENDING TO TRAKTOR. Tho all of my devices still send midi to MIDI-OX. I may have to go for to the mapping forum for this one.

Could be a couple of things:

Check your In & Out ports are correct in Traktor settings - try each device one at a time.
Check if you are using the 64bit version of Traktor - if you are on 32bit Windows.

Im pretty sure my issue was solved with to in and out ports in traktor. im just a noob lol. I still have this weird issue where I have to connect ALL of my devices to MIDI-OX before I load traktor or my controllers will NOT work :?

Hmm not sure, it sounds like it's only working when you select midiox as the in & out ports.

I would disable midiox, start traktor, delete all the tsi files - then:

Connect the slate4.
Import the tsi for it.
Check the in & outs are correct & the controller works properly.
Repeat for the midifighters - one at a time.

UPDATE: so i got the SLATE working consistently with still having to load it through midiox first. Now its my midi fighter twister thats not working. If its not in sequencer mode page, the second traktor loads, the twister will lock red and half to unplug it because it stops sending any signal. but now when i load it in sequencer mode, it straight up will not play, i have the 909 drum kit loaded into a remix deck C, hit the play button after building a sequence and nada. the play button lights up but the sequence will not play. all my ports are set right and traktor will crash if i run midiox in the background please help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lol this has been the biggest nightmare ive ever had to experience
