How to DJ's get unreleased tracks and such

So many tracks I love are unreleased/not on beatport or iTunes yet I hear DJs playing them out all the time. Do they just get them from the artists?

When I am practicing and such I dont mind using a song I ripped from youtube but there is no way I would actually want to use them due to sound quality and the like. So other than ripping songs from youtube or soundcloud how do you obtain these tracks?

A lot of artists on Soundcloud give out songs to there followers privately.

Some guys even give out there beatport songs before they go on beatport.

Ahh i figured there was some kind of exclusivity attached to it but I was hoping that was not the case.


Just like my girlfriend wants me to spin for a party shes having and wants to hear trap and dubstep and so many trap songs just are not out there

I just dont think your looking in the right places.. Ill link you too some trap guys tho cause im feeling nice today.

Dubstep is easy peasy to find.. dubstep.net is a good place to start.

First 2 are trap, should be able to find tons of people off of those guys..
