Need help setting up a fader for multi functions.

I've spent the last few days researching multifunction super knobs, buttons, and faders and trying to map a few to my Hercules Steel controller in Traktor Pro.

So far I have mapped a few buttons, but I'm having problems setting up a fader in chained FX. What I'm trying to do is set it so that when the fader is at one end, everything is off. then, as I move the fader, effect 1 turns on and the action of the fader increases effect 1's value. Then when the fader is at 100%, effect 2 is turned on.

Problem is, I can't get effect 2 to turn on at 100%. Only the same as effect 1. Is there some sort of trick to mapping this, or am I not able to because of the firmware of the controller?

My settings so far are-

1. Effect parameter 1 Direct
Effect 1 On Hold
Effect 1 Amount Relative

2. ????????

3. Profit.

it can be done with modifiers but my head is too tired to think, plus the fact you put profit deters me trying to help, this is a community not ebay :O

There was a really good blog post someone posted on here not to long ago, but I can't find it in my bookmarks. I'll keep looking and maybe ask the google to see if I can find it.
