Default Ableton midi learn same CC different channel

    Sup boys

I'm trying to midi learn ableton.

I can't achieve to learn a same CC with a different channel.

    e.g: volume track A learn to ch.01.CC.20
Volume track X learn to ch.05.CC.20

It gets replaced instead of getting two lines in the midi learn window....

    Is there a way?

Yea, the controller needs to be configured seperately. Likely with the provided software.

Knowing what controller you want to assign will let us tell you wether it has an external editor or not. Not all devices offer that functionality.

Actually I'm so stupid that I made an error in the example...

    I'm trying to learn :

    Volume deck A CC.32.ch.01
    Volume deck A CC.32.ch.05

So, is there a way to learn twice the same command with same CC, different channel?

Ableton can differentiate easily between the same CC on a different channel but you can't assign 2 independent commands to a single control. Basically you can't map both to Volume A.

Why don't you edit your controller so that CC32 on Ch.5 sends on Ch.1 instead? This should basically achieve what you are after.
