FWIW, my iAudio Fast Track Pro works great! I recommend it. I haven't used the 4 though, so I can't weigh in on which is better. But the FTP is a solid product.

    better for what?

if you see yourself doing dvs stuff now or in future audio4 makes more sense.

i would personally choose the audiodj4
We don't believe in the star system. We want the focus to be on the music. If we have to create an image, it must be an artificial image. That combination hides our physicality and also shows our view of the star system. It is not a compromise-daftpunk

I started with the Fast Track Pro. It worked well, and I appreciated the hell out of those TRS outputs because I was using a bass amp as a monitor. The TRS's are wonderful if you plan on doing other recording stuff.

I bought mine for $75, sold it for $100 on craigslist, and got an Audio4DJ for $180 at Audiolines (looove being able to drive there). I purchased it because I intended to make the transition to DVS. The build quality is definitely superior, and it's a lot prettier, but in terms of actual functionality, it's hard (for ME) to say that it is a better device sans DVS.

Which is the best option ?
