    Default A&H Xone 4D

    Hi Guys;

    Does Xone4D traktor certified.. I have seen lot of grandmaster DJs still uses xone 3d or else couple of x1 kontrol in their set. Can anyone please advice me whether Xone4D is a good investment? and How about latency figuers on 20 channel sound card?

    What I'm thinking is if I get xone4d I only have to have single usb connection for all where as if I use external sound card, two x1 and other it would complecate my setup. What would you think? any ideas or anyone own xone4d in this forum? Please help!

    Great investment for sure. Awesome mixer. Nice controller. Great soundcard too. However you'll miss led feedback on the controller parts.
    It's a great product.

    If I had the money, I'd dump my 3D for a 4D in a heartbeat. That said, with pretty much all the controls remaining the same, the 3D still rocks, though I really wouldn't mind those extra channels on the soundcard.

    And yes, both the 3 and 4Ds are Traktor Certified.
    I'm not good at things, but I like to pretend I am.

    Cox no....Dubfire used it for a bit. Check out the DX...it's cheaper and may suit your needs. I am going to purchase one in a month or so. Also with the dx you get the benefit of Serato itch and Traktor. The only issue is you need to have your computer plugged into it to use it.

    Although the 4D is a beast and an amazing piece of engineering, I had the opportunity to play with one and I feel like the layout of functions is kind of scattered and was planned poorly and I never really got used to it, as opposed to the DX which I got the hang of almost instantly. Although the DX does have its problems, I would consider purchasing the DX (once the issues are worked out) and two traktor kontrol X1's..you would save almost a 1,000 and not really lose any functionality....Just a consideration, good luck
