    Default NanoPad X/Y mapping

    Hi.

    Does anyone have mappings for scratch/search with the x/y pad for TSP 1.2?

    I found some, but they only work on TSP 1.1

    Thanks

    God.. damn.. spammers..

    Mapping shouldn't be too hard though? Look at the 1.1 mapping and copy it to your version

    Thanks janzak.

    That's what i did! But it doesn't work properly!
    When i touch the pad = Scratch on (This is ok)
    But when i move my finger along the pad the "needle" moves realy
    fast and seamlessly to the end or the begining of the track!!!
    I adjusted the sensitivity but still no good.
    What i want the pad to do is what he's doing @ 7:04min of this video

    Could my pad is broken?

    No, you just need to change the way the the pad moves the track along.

    Try mapping it to CDJ JOG instead of seek, or change the seek mode from absolute to relative.
    I'm not good at things, but I like to pretend I am.

    It's because the x parameter was set as pitch bend

    You need to download the Korg Kontrol Editor and change the x parameter behavior from pitch bend to control change/CC

    Guys... Realy... Thanks for the help!

    But i'm almost giving up on this...

    These are my settings:

    Kontrol Editor

    X/Y Pad Common

    Midi Channel: Global
    Touch/Release = Enable
    Off = o
    On = 127
    CC number = 16
    Attack = 0
    Release = 0

    X/Y Pad-X:

    Assign Type= Control Change
    CC Number= 0
    Polarity= Normal

    X/Y Pad-Y

    Disabled

    Traktor Pro

    Scratch on:
    Mapping: Ch01.CC.016
    Type: Button
    Interaction: Direct

    Scratch:
    Mapping: Ch01.CC.000
    Type: Fader/Knob
    Interaction: Relative
    Rotary Sensitivity: 0%
    Rotary Acceleration: 100%

    Later i'm gonna try some more tweaking on the settings, but if it
    doesn't work, i'm gonna use the x/y pad as an ashtray or something....

    Once again thanks for the help.

    the x/y pad actually pretty useful for manipulating two control change parameters simultaneously.

    I'm using it to manipulate two parameters from advanced effects such as TTFX, Filter pulse, etc

    Another good application of it might be mapping it to change the length of loop, or use it to scrub over the waveform.

    then you can go crazy by mapping the individual cue point for cue juggling.
